₹2,000Draped in the legacy of Banaras, this exquisite Pure Kora Silk Kadhwa Buta Saree is woven entirely on traditional handlooms by master weavers of Varanasi. Every delicate daisy buta, every petal of the scalloped meenakari border — hand-interlaced with sona rupa (gold-silver) zari and vibrant tilfi coloured silk threads, thread by thread, on a sheer baby pink ground.
Colour & Design
- Colour: Baby Pink / Lilac Pink — soft, feminine, and timelessly bridal, with a sheer organza-like luminosity
- Body Weave: Scattered small Kadhwa daisy and sunflower butis in silver-white sona rupa zari with tiny multicolour meenakari centres (pink, yellow, blue, red) across the entire body
- Border: Spectacular scalloped arch (mehrab) border with multicolour tilfi meenakari floral motifs — teal, red, yellow, pink, and green — in gold-silver zari, finished with a wide gold tissue border stripe
- Pallu: Cream-gold ground mirroring the scalloped meenakari border — rich and beautifully structured
- Blouse Piece: Contrasting lemon yellow
- Technique: Kadhwa — each buta individually woven on the handloom without a shuttle; Tilfi Meenakari — multiple coloured silk threads woven simultaneously into the zari motifs
- Zari: Real sona rupa (gold + silver) zari woven directly into the silk — not printed or embroidered

Why Pure Kora Silk?
Kora silk is woven from raw, untwisted silk threads, giving it a distinctive crisp, organza-like texture with a natural sheen. Lighter than Katan silk, it drapes with an airy elegance that makes it especially prized for summer weddings and festive occasions.
What is Kadhwa Weaving?
Kadhwa is the most intricate and time-consuming technique in Banarasi weaving — each motif is individually woven by hand without a flying shuttle, requiring master weavers to work thread by thread. A single Kadhwa saree can take weeks to complete, making it a true heirloom piece.
