The rich royal violet silk ground is woven with an all-over gold zari rose jaal — an intricate lattice of intertwining rope vines carrying blooming roses, delicate floral sprigs, and leaves across the entire body. The jaal is dense, luminous, and unmistakably Banarasi.
The pallu features circular medallion and paisley butis on a contrasting lavender-silver ground with fine zari stripes — a beautiful contrast that adds depth to the drape. Finished with a diamond-lattice zari border and a leaf chevron band, and comes with a matching blouse piece in the same vibrant purple silk.
